The shelves are always bare. I do not have an inventory. Every piece begins with a drawing and ends with the final waxing. Input from the client makes every piece unique, interesting and special. The initial process can be bothersome, however in the end, the client is assured in having the work they had desired and imagined. It is best and the process is accelerated if I can get a drawing or a photo of a piece that the client has an interest in and which depicts a characteristic or trait that he or she wishes to see inherited by the newly commissioned work. This allows for us to have a solid starting place and a common reference point. The goal is to have the client confident they remain in control of the final product and to be assured their input and ideas become realized in the finished design. This imbues the piece with an individuality that is impossible when purchasing a mass produced piece of furniture. ![]() |
